Fujitsu Client Computing Limited focuses on the research, development, design, manufacturing and sales of Client Computing Devices (CCD) for the global PC market. It is a joint venture between Lenovo, Fujitsu and the Development Bank of Japan and started to operate in May 2018.

We established a new Research & Development Center in Germany to support the Fujitsu-branded PCs customer base in Germany and Europe. The new FCCL subsidiary provides technical expertise and responsiveness on technical specifics in Germany and across Europe and offers differentiated, high quality, stationary Fujitsu branded CCD products including its related accessories. The FCCL R&D Center commenced operations in April 2020.

To support our team, we are looking for a Hardware System Engineer (f/m/d) for our site in Augsburg at the earliest possible date.

Key Tasks

• System Integration for PC, Workstation and Thin Client

• Support concept study during product definition phase

• Develop and optimize thermal and acoustic performance

• Conduct all required product specific environmental tests

• Manage all required product country certifications

• Assemble prototypes and distribute to relevant departments

• Responsible for system documentation (manuals)

• Integration of new components

• Lifecycle support

Job Specification

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 3 years job experience in hardware development preferable in System Integration

• Especially in one or more areas experience on a level to control/coordinate external labs and development partners:

   o EMI/ESD

   o Cooling solution development and test

   o Acoustic

   o Energy measurements

   o Product safety

   o Mechanic test

• Basics in Ecology: RoHS, REACH, material declarations

• Primarily technical project management skills

• Cross cultural communication and English skills (fluent in spoken/written) mandatory
